My sewing room, which is also my guest bedroom, is a crowded little dramatic affair. A room of one’s own for sure. Here are a few blurry pictures:

My lovely little lady hasn't failed me yet. (She was free from an advanced quilter a few years ago!)

A bit messy, as I didn't attempt to organize for the photos, but I do love having everything within reach. My bulletin board is full of photos and cards and notes from friends rather than an "idea" board, because I like to make things for others and be reminded of all the fantastic people I know.

A fantastic kitchen island turned into fabric storage and a cutting area. My sewing motto hangs on the wall - "Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead."
Arranging and re-arranging my stash and sewing notions is a good way for me to produce new fabric combination’s and ideas. Sometimes, the size of a print pattern is hard for me to place with a certain pattern. I like really huge patterns sewn into really small things. Before I sew up my sewing space, I bounced around flickr for some ideas… IKEA is a hit, and bright bold colors to keep things happy. The one thing I didn’t account for was a gigantically large place for arranging patterns. My kitchen table suffices for now… but I keep wondering if I can’t have my living room be the best sewing place on earth, and make everyone go into the small spare bedroom to eat and play board games!
