The Golden Mean
Sewing is, to me, the interaction between art and mathematics through the vehicle of stitching materials together. Which really isn’t complicated at all, lucky for me since my arithmetic sucks. (My geometry is typically good, which just might be key.) So when you are crafting anything, stick to the golden rule, the golden ratio, the golden mean.
Oh, what is the golden rule? If you haven’t read Nick Bantock’s “Griffin and Sabine“ series, you should now. The internet can wait. Go get it. Right now. And, read up on the golden mean. Learning is powerful.

PS: I am focusing on using the golden spiral in my crafts more. Now… to clean up my absolute mess of a work space.
