Last minute gift giving and I am so behind! All crafters feel this way around major holidays, but my excuse is cuter than most:
However, I did manage to whip up a couple felt stockings and am working on a custom set of Christmas stockings for my little family. I estimate, with a 4 month old who is getting his first tooth, that I will get one stocking done in the next three days.
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas this year!
Love,
MaLora
PS: Find me on instagram as “birdandbicycle” – I would love to have more crafters as friends to follow!
PPS: handmade clay ornament of my son’s footprint (huge feet!)

I just don’t know what spurred this, but you just popped into my mind and I had to check out your blog, knowing that you were bound to have had a baby by now! Your little babe is just a doll – what a joy! My son was also four months at Christmastime, and it was so fun to be over that three-month hump during the festive season. The foot ornament idea is wicked clever, I’m kicking (ha ha) myself for not thinking of that one. I am quite sad I do not have his little footprints. Cherish it!
We are at 5.5 months now, or so, and really enjoying his development. He is also getting his first tooth, which has completely altered his naps and removed my ability to sew during the day. I am having fun sewing for him, starting a fancy hat from an etsy pattern I bought and then maybe a pair of pants from Anna Maria Horner’s book. Congrats on your little one as well! Your blog is super fantastic!
